On Wednesday morning, the Nanuet Fire Department was summoned to 5 Fredric Street for a possible furnace fire. Upon arrival of Nanuet’s 8-1 (Chief Koester), he advised fire control of a working fire and requested 12-Tower to the scene. When on scene the Tower’s interior team went to work inside the house “opening up” for the engine. The outside team OV & Roof (Outside Vent and Roof Firefighter’s) provided roof ventilation. The main body of fire was under control within an hour. All units were back in service by 10:30 A.M.
