Extrication (Veterans Memorial Parkway)

On Saturday, August 13th the Pearl River Fire Department responded to an MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) Car vs. Tree on Veterans Memorial Parkway in Pearl River. PD and EMS units informed FD that one individual was heavily pinned inside the vehicle. Due to the intrusion into the diver's footwell Fire Units had to remove the door, roof and conduct a dash roll to free the victim.  

MVA Orangeburg Road

On Saturday, August 27th at 5:06 AM the Pearl River Fire Department responded to an MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) Car vs. Tree on Orangeburg Road in Pearl River. Orangetown Police confirmed that one individual was severely pinned in an overturned vehicle, which also struck a tree. Our Hurst edraulics rescue tools were used to remove the driver’s side doors and spread frame in two critical spots. The victim was removed and transported to Westchester Medical Center
